Our Puppies

We are extremely proud to have puppies
throughout the world.

UK - SWEDEN - U.S.A - HAWAII - CANADA - NEW ZEALAND - AUSTRALIA

Our puppies are all handled from birth and lovingly raised. They are exposed to day to day household noises and come from health tested parents. Every puppy is primary vaccinated, wormed and vet checked. Our puppies all go for walks on a lead, have travelled on short car rides and are accustomed to day to day surroundings.

It is highly recommended that you enroll your new puppy in a Puppy Pre-School Class.  Most pups can attend from 8 weeks of age as long as they have had their first vaccination.  Once your puppy has attended Puppy Pre-School and is fully vaccinated you can then enrol him in a puppy training class or a basic obedience class. Socializing your new puppy at this sort of class, interacting with unfamiliar people and their dogs will help the puppy to gain confidence and get used to the hustle and bustle of busy noisy places. The training will be as much benefit to you as it will be the puppy, as if you have not had a puppy before or if it has been a long time since you had a puppy in the household, then it is a great way to learn the best way forward with the basic training requirements. When your puppy gets older, you can then decide if you would like to continue with attending training classes, and if so, you can take part in classes at a higher level.

Bio-Sensor Program
All our puppies now go through the Bio-Sensor Program.  The U.S . Military developed this program in the 1970's (it is often referred to as the 'Super Dog program'.)  The program was developed to improve the performance of dogs used in military purposes.

The basic premise of the program is that early neurological stimulation excercises could affect the performance of the dog.  The Army's research revealed that early stimulation of the puppy from the 3rd through to the 16th day influence rapid neurological growth and development.

The five excercises are as follows:
 PuppyPage/BioSensor1.JPG

1. Tactile Stimilation- holding the pup in one hand, the handler gently stimilates (tickles) the pup between the toes on any one foot using a Q-tip.  It is not necessary to see that the pup is feeling the tickle.  Time of stimulation 3-5 seconds.

PuppyPage/BioSensor2.JPG

2. Head held erect - using both hands, the pup is held perpendicular to the ground (straight up), so that its head is directly above its tail.  This is an upwards position.  Time of stimulation 3-5 seconds.

PuppyPage/BioSensor3.JPG

3. Head pointed down -holding the pup firmly with both hands the head is reversed and is pointed downward so that iit is pointing towards the ground,  Time of stimulation 3-5 seconds.

4. Supine position - hold the pup so that its back is resting in the palm of both hands with its muzzle facing the ceiling.  The pup while on its back is allowed to sleep struggle. Time of stimilation 3-5 seconds.

5. Thermal stimulation - use a damp towel that has been cooled in a refrigerator for at least five minutes.  Place the pup on the towel, feet down.  Do not restrain it from moving.  Time of stimulation 3-5 seconds.

These exercises improve the development of the puppy's neurological systems by early stimulation and stress.  Five benefits have been observed in canines that were exposed to the Bio-Sensor stimulation exercises.

Improved cardio vascular performance (heart rate)
 Stronger heart beats.
 Stronger adrenal glands.
 More tolerance to stress.
Greater resistance to disease.

At 7 weeks of age our puppies are put through a Puppy Behaviour Test  and they receive a Conformation Assessment.
When our puppies go to their news homes they are accompanied with a comprehensive breed booklet, puppy care sheet and a photo album on disc.

We want our puppies to get lifelong loving homes, so to safeguard their wellbeing all puppies have Purchase and De-Sexing Contracts.
